How Is it made
Harvesting: Hand-picked in early spring, selecting only the finest, most tender single buds.
Withering: Gently withered to reduce moisture and prepare the leaves for processing.
Rolling: Lightly rolled to release natural juices and initiate oxidation.
Initial Roast: 105-110°C for 50 minutes — a quick, high-temperature roast that locks in the bud’s fresh, delicate aroma and prevents bitterness.
Resting: The leaves are cooled and rested to allow flavors to settle.
Final Roast: 70°C for 3 hours — a gentle, low-temperature roast that nurtures the tea‘s signature honeyed fragrance, enhancing the golden tips and floral sweetness.
Purpose: Locks in the bud’s fresh aroma, cultivates honey and golden-tip notes, and prevents any harsh or bitter tones from developing.
